Great jacket for winter running. It is just a very simple, uninsulated nylon windbreaker, but it has zipper pockets (a must for my hanky and securing my gloves when my hands get hot). I live in the mid-Atlantic so it gets cold, but not too cold and I am usually good with this jacket over a merino wool top during the winter. YMMV depending on your location and if you tend to run hot or cold.I'm 5'8" and somewhere between 125-130 lbs. and generally proportionate hips/shoulders so I typically wear a size small in both tops and bottoms. I was more comfortable in a medium in this jacket, small was too restrictive across shoulders and chest for me. I'd say the medium fits me similarly to the model in the photo. The overall body length and sleeve length is great for taller people. I'm not particularly tall, but I do have long arms for my height (a big, annoying challenge with tops) and the sleeves on this jacket are plenty long.I snagged this for a big discount, not sure if I would pay full price considering it's really just a simple non-technical windbreaker.
