I researched for a long time - read a gazillion reviews. Yet didn't realize until deciding to keep it - on first full day of use - that there is no outer pocket to slip my phone in for easy access. How could I have missed this detail, or underestimated the convenience of such a thing?! Also, I will definitely have to replace the shoulder strap with something wider - the <1" strap that came with it caused shoulder pain by the end of the day. The short straps aren't really long enough to keep the bag on my shoulder - maybe because I'm tall and not a beanpole ??‍♀️ otherwise, it's a beautiful and sturdy bag and it serves the purpose for which it was bought.
